Chimney Installation

Installation as well as periodic maintenance interventions that maintain the integrity of anti-smoke compartments, such as chimneys, flues, fireplaces, stoves, and drain lines, are indispensable to ensuring their proper and continuous operation.

8.1. Chimney Installation cases:

8.1.1. New Buildings:

The feasibility study for chimney installation/maintenance is not difficult for new constructions.

8.1.2. Old Buildings with Chimney:

As our expert engineers examine the structural stability of the existing building, they will determine whether the existing air conduit should be restored, isolated, and intubated or demolished and replaced with a new one.

8.1.3. Old Buildings without Chimney:

It is our expert engineers' responsibility to examine the structural soundness of the existing building, the feasibility of installing a new chimney, and if needed, the alternative materials for the construction of a new chimney.

Currently, regulations require that a new chimney be constructed with adequate materials that are fireproof, resistant to both mechanical and heat stresses, have a cross-section allowing a consistent flow of smoke, and have a longitudinal profile as straight and free of congestion as possible.

8.2. Chimney Installation services:

8.2.1. Feasibility study.

8.2.2. Inspection of existing chimneys, flues, fireplaces, stoves, or drain-lines.

8.2.3. Demolition of existing chimneys, flues, fireplaces, stoves, or drain-lines.

8.2.4. Restoration of existing chimneys, flues, fireplaces, stoves, or drain-lines.

8.2.5. Installation of new chimneys, flues, fireplaces, stoves, or drain-lines.

8.2.6. Maintenance of chimneys, flues, fireplaces, stoves, or drain-lines.

8.3. The advantages of using the Double/Half Rope Safety system

8.3.1. Quick execution:

While scaffolding and platforms require more time to prepare and assemble, a double/half rope safety technique is extremely fast. Further, eliminating obstacles (2 ropes versus scaffolding structure) facilitates and speeds up bird removal.

8.3.2. Comfort, Security, and freedom:

By eliminating bulky scaffolding, both the client and residents, if any, feel more comfortable, while scaffolding intrusions and house thefts are minimized.

8.3.3. Cost-Effective:

It is inexpensive to use Double/Half Rope Safety technique since it eliminates the need to assemble work platforms and scaffolds.
